Introducing this beautiful brass lamp, originally used on the cosmetic counter for Germaine Monteil's cosmetics.  Germaine Monteil was originally a French born designer and cosmetician who launched her brand when moving to New York in the 1930's, later transitioning fully into cosmetics that lasted until the mid 1980's before being purchased by Revlon.  Lamp shows some light tarnishing and scratches in spots but is in good working condition and includes Germain Montiel's stamp on base of lamp.
